My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this fine hotel. Situated in a quiet and quaint neighborhood in Paris, it is conveniently located near a Metro station, RER station, a large grocery store, and many great restaurants. Our room, bed, shower, and all amenities were comfortable, and the daily breakfast buffet that we opted for as part of our package, was simple but delicious. It was a welcome home-away-from home after a week in the summer heat attending Paris Summer Olympic events and tourist attractions. When we return to Paris, we'll choose this hotel again.

The shower walls need a little updating as do the curtains. But otherwise the hotel was very stylish and comfortable! The rooms were cleaned daily as well as fresh towels.

Although hotel was nice and rooms were comfortable, carpets were very dirty. My daughter was stuck in their elevator with another family for over an hour. The other family was compensated for one night stay plus all meals and services for their entire stay, we were not.

Great hotel in Paris
5 stars all around. Staff were very friendly at check-in, during the stay, and at check-out. Staff spoke English as well. The room met expectations as per the pictures and features described. The hotel is very close to transit lines, which makes it very convenient to get around to all the major sites in Paris. Would definitely stay at Hotel Ampere again!

Clean and spacious with a great breakfast
Wonderful hotel, close to a metro stop, great breakfast, spacious bathroom. My only small complaints are the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable for me - very firm. Also, I booked this hotel because it said it had a laundry facility. It has very expensive laundry service, not a self-serve laundry facility. I did find a laundromat nearby that was about a 10 minute walk. All-in-all we were very happy with this hotel.

This was an excellent hotel in a good location. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Arc de triomphe so not that close but the area was clean and quiet. Hotel was very nice service and we had breakfast included which was good. The breakfast had a nice selection of juices, teas, pastries, and fruits although it would have been nice to have some different meat options like chicken or turkey. There was no view of the Eiffel Tower from the room which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. The room itself was a good size. We had a Queen bed and a twin sofa bed and there was plenty of room. The bathroom was large and the soap was from L’Occitane. Everything was clean and well maintained. A cab ride from the Gare du Nord station to the hotel cost about €15. Would recommend this hotel!
