The area is calm and quiet. The hotel is old but clean, old furniture that needs renovation. The beds are clean and fresh. The furniture is old, the sofa in the room is old and dirty. The safe for money in the room did not work. Good staff.

my only complaint is the very loud bar across the street. i dont know what can be done, but it was something that was very annoying all night every night. other then the noise it was a nice place to stay. staff wss very helpful.

I had a quick but memorable stay in this hotel. I visit Paris from time to time for personal reasons and been to different hotels in the area. This one was on the better side and I was surprised I never noticed it before. Staff was awesome, especially, especially, the front desk gentleman, I believe his name is Rachid. He knew I just landed and was exhausted, he did his best to ensure I get to rest well once I arrived at the hotel.

Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Traffic noise is in the loud side. Can hear people walking around at night. Small elevator. Service of front staff was excellent.

The hotel itself was nice. The staff was really friendly and the location could not have been better. The only items to note are the elevator fits only 1 person at a time so be prepared to walk up the stairs (we were on the 5th floor), and the air conditioning didn’t work. The hotel did provide fans and that did the trick. We would stay here again.

It was located in an area convenient to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. The hotel itself was OK but could do with an update of furniture in the lobby and rooms. The bathroom was tiny. So if you're on the larger side, the shower could be an issue. Rooms was also small. One day we did not get our room cleaned by staff but the concierge kindly gave us fresh towels and emptied the bins. He was helpful.

Great location but mediocre room, no drawers or cabinets to store your clothing. Poor lighting in the room especially the bathroom, The elevator is approximately 3’x3’ in size and only goes to the 5th floor and if you’re on the 6th floor you’re out of luck and must carry your bags up. It is situated in a good area and within walking distance of some of the major sites.

I just came back from 3 nights in the hotel and it was great. Woman at front desk(sorry, I don’t remember her name) was so helpful and friendly. She answered all our questions and set up a taxi to the airport on our check out day. Room was bigger than I expected as was the bathroom. Clean and simple. We had a nice view of the street from our window. There is an elevator that is very small, one person and one suitcase is all that will fit, but it works. Area is very nice, 15 min walk to Notre Dame. Loved all the cafes nearby and their was a small convenience type store a block away for drinks and snacks. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Older hotel but clean and friendly
The hotel is older and the carpet in the hallways show wear and tear but our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and soft. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Clean, Friendly, and Wonderful Location
Excellent experience. Perfect location—safe and near transportation. Stayed here with children and we adored it. The lift is very small but is quite functional and adds to the character and charm of the establishment. Highly recommend!

Good Stay in Paris
Overall, the hotel was in a good location in the 5th District of Paris. The room was acceptable with a bed and desk as well as an additional chair for sitting. The bathroom is small -- it's a space limitation and you need to use care with the shower as the space is limited and water can spill out easy. The breakfast was excellent -- I really enjoyed the selection.

Amazing gem
We had a last minute need for a hotel whilst in Paris, the hotel we were in recommended the Claude Bernard. What a recommendation and what a gem of a find. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome, and the hotel was so cosy and inviting. We were even given an unexpected room upgrade. The room was massive. More than adequate for us. It was cosy, clean and warm. Some lovely touches like sweets on the bed just added to the experience. Breakfast was included in the price, and my goodness what a choice there was. Warm and cold food selection, multiple choices of drinks. We were spoilt. The whole experience was amazing, and upon reflection wished we’d spent the whole of our stay there as opposed to the one we had stopped in for the first part of our stay. The hotel is centrally located and the area safe. We have no problem or hesitation on recommending this property to others and we’d definitely stay there if we find ourselves in Paris again. Thanks to all.
