Clean, quiet, charming hotel. Kind and helpful staff. We spent two nights. Stayed in the spa duplex room which was fantastic. Spacious room with a comfy bed, large terrace and luxurious bathroom. I highly recommend.

Location location, Service???
As a returning guest I was slightly disappointed with the level of service we received. Overall the stay was quite good but with a leaking air conditioner and a room change on our final night to a less comfortable lodging it felt like more of an inconvenience for them rather than us. Location is in a quiet neighbourhood which is great when trying to escape the city at night and walking distance to many Metro stations giving access to the whole city.

It was a nice hotel, very clean. I had a larger room with a very large terrace which I enjoyed. (Note that it was not a street view and instead it was a courtyard overlooked by neighbouring units). The room had good air conditioning. Shower was very large and worked well. Unfortunately, the majority of the front door staff that I encountered were stiff, rude and unfriendly to be honest, only one younger female ( I wish I knew her name) was wonderfully helpful and kind - a big thank you to her, she really was helpful. Neighborhood had lots of restaurants to choose from. 20 min walk to Sacre Couer, or Louvre. 15 min to Gare du Norde. Very easy to get around.

Excellent stay at the Grand Hotel Lafayette. Great service from the hotel staff, and the hotel situated right in the arr.9. Perfect location and base for sights and getting around Paris. My only issue which is a small one, was next time I will upgrade to the larger 18sq mt room. I booked the 14sq mt room for our 3 day stay, which was just a tiny bit smaller.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is modern and the rooms (we had a classic room) are well finished, with everything you need. Lots of places to eat around the hotel and lots of attractions within 20-30 mins walking distance. Several metro stations within 4-8 mins walk to make getting around Paris easy.

Overall, I could not have picked a better place for my stay in Paris. I have been to Paris many times, mostly staying further outside the city center. The location of this hotel is beyond convenient. Almost all of the transportation on the trip was done by walking. Although we didn't use it much, there were plenty of metro stations nearby as well. We stayed in a balcony room which was all I wanted it to be and more. The balcony had up some greenery to provide privacy, and also included a table and two chairs. Very spacious and we spent a lot of time out there. Housekeeping also came each day and provided new towels and sheets as well. I appreciate this touch as not all hotels will do this. Anything that we needed assistance with during our stay, the staff was readily available. I will more than likely stay here again on my next stay.
