This was the third stay for us at Hotel Dieppe. The hotel has been renovated since our last stay: brightly colored hallways and rooms, new carpeting, newly renovated bathrooms. Reception very pleasant and English speaking. Location is outstanding for access to the Metro (Gare Sainte-Lazare right across the street), to a great dining area in Paris, etc. The rooms are small as one would expect from a building in old Paris, but it contributes to one's experience, a certain ambience in the City of Lights. Breakfast (croissants, juice and coffee) used to be included in the room fee, but there is a charge for it now. We chose to visit one of the many local sidewalk coffee shops, each morning, instead. Room was clean, great shower, hair dryer included, good towels. Walls are quite thin as we discovered when a couple returned late at night and continued their argument next door, until we pounded on the adjoining wall. We accessed the Wi-Fi which was reliable. While this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel, it has a certain charm which compels us to return.
