Overall this was a great stay. With the exception of the bathroom fan not working and humidity would just get trapped in the room. This was brought up but nothing was done about it. We were also told we’d be getting brand new coffee machines in every room and for some reason ours was skipped and used the old one. Another issue was toilet paper; 1 roll for two people per day. I always found myself asking stuff for some. These are just details but it’s all in the details I suppose. Other than that, this was a great area, staff was kind and the rooms were comfortable.

A delightful little hotel. Lovely rooms. if somewhat small by US standards, buy hey, this is not Topeka. Working elevator. Convenient (20min or so) walking distance to all that touristy stuff in Paris, but it's not exactly in the middle of the Louvre, so if walking is not your cup of espresso, the nearby Metro station is a half-a-block away.

Lovely clean hotel in the quiet backstreets - it was fairly easy to find. I walked with a suitcase from Gare du Nord but Cadet station is only a 2 minute walk if you prefer. The room had everything needed including toiletries (standard these days), fridge, iron and excellent air conditioning. The only let-down for me was the noise. The rooms/doors are quite thin and I could hear everything outside the room. From the squeaky elevator every time it moved; people talking in the adjacent room and those walking to and from the stairways late at night. Everything else was perfect: just the late-night internal noise for me.

The room smels bad
The hole room smels bad (maybe a pipes problem), and the first night the bed sheets smelled really bad (humidity). That smell stayed in the bed even after cleaning lady changed them. The cleaning ladies are really noisy in the morning.

we booked the room with terrace and we had the room on the ground floor with the garden, that does now allow any light in the room. The staff that work in the evening stays inside theri little room, so anybody can access the hotel without them noticing, that felt a little unsafe. The hotel is in avery nice location.

Lovely boutique style hotel
This hotel is only 12 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Close to the metro and bus top and about 18-20 minutes from the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Very clean and comfortable boutique style hotel. Staff lovely.

Overall, we were not impressed with the property. The pictures are a bit misleading making the hotel look much better than it currently is. The hotel is dark, old/outdated, and not super clean. We had adjacent rooms which were typical size for Paris but looked old like the rest of the hotel. The bathrooms seemed updated and the showers were great. The property is located really close to a metro station but the area, and specifically the street the hotel is on is not the most welcoming. We would not call it unsafe but it's not an area in which we liked walking around at night. The listing states laundry facilities, but this is not accurate. They offer laundry service by talking it to a close by laundry/dry cleaner. If this is something important (as it was for us) we would suggest dropping the laundry at the dry cleaner yourself. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were all very courteous and helpful, answering all of our questions and providing recommendations and guidance. For a 4 start hotel and the price paid, not worth it. We would not come back to this hotel.

We loved this property! Staff was great, room and bathroom were small but solid. We enjoyed the themed room and hotel. Nice neighborhood which is conveniently located near metro and in a more calm area, but still short walk to all tourist attractions. Definitely recommend adding on breakfast as it was very good and convenient.
