We paid for a room that's listed as "Privelege"; it was clean and tidy but extremely small with a metal closet that was unusable, measuring approximately 14"-15" wide. There is a refrigerator in the room, but was empty upon our arrival; there were no bottles of water. As a result, we had to make our way outside to purchase water.
There is a small window with semi sheer curtains facing the back of another building. We were concerned about privacy, so I approached the middle aged man at the front desk who checked us in to inform him that we didn't have any privacy; I also mentioned the fact that we got a "Privilege Room, yet, the window was facing a wall. We were very surprised by his combative tone; he informed us that he was not the architect so he doesn’t know what we want him to do. I responded that his attitude and response was not customer friendly. I reiterated that we don't have any window shades for privacy and in the same combative tone he told me that there was a switch on the wall that operated the blinds. I felt that when we checked in those instructions should have been given to us.
The hotel is in a great location; close to Moulin Rouge, the Metro, and tons of Cafés and Restaurants but
I wouldn't return. The bathroom was challenging because of it's narrow width; every move while taking a shower would turn the water off and we would have to quickly turn it back on; in my humble opionion, the shower head should have been placed on the right corner instead.
