The front desk staff was great! Friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy. We were going to use the elevator to get to our room but ended up taking the stairs because the elevator was very warm- no AC at all. The room we were given smelled like smoke - the front desk person was apologetic and accommodating and moved us to a different room. The second room was ok but the linens and duvet smelled like they were just brought out of a musty closet.
I did appreciate the toiletries provided- called "Zero/0" - or at least that's what the bottles said. The shampoo, conditioner, and body washed were 15oz boxes attached to the wall in the shower. There was also a bottle of the same brand lotion next to the sink. The refrigerator had something spilled in it- which had leaked into the cabinet the fridge was enclosed in. The beds were horrible. Any movement caused loud sounds from the box -spring boards??? Every time my husband moved or turned, the noise was so loud, it awakened me.
There were several lamps for lighting options, multiple electrical outlets and USB ports which was great! I always stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling but I have to say this location, by far, was less than stellar. Thank goodness for the front desk staff- she was great!
By the way, we did not partake in the complimentary breakfast but my husband did get a bagged "breakfast to go" which contained a bagel, water, apple, and a couple of other items.
