Request for upgrade from original room went very smoothly. Mattress in 1st room was disgusting. Couldn't find handicap parking, blow dryer was non working, coffee machine had short cord that wouldn't reach the outlet closest to it.

I must say; the bed was comfortable. The carpet was DIRTY with sticky substance. Bathroom floor behind toilet and door had dust,dirt and hair. The sink sprayed water when washing hands. If I had not paid in full in advance; I would have canceled and gone elsewhere.Very dissatisfied because I've stayed at LaQuinta's in the past and this is NOT what I remembered the hotel being.

The property was a mess with trash all around. The bathroom and shower did not look clean and there was build up on the toiletries which clearly indicated they were either not replaced or being refilled with each guest. I messaged them ahead of time requesting a portable crib and got a response that they woukd check on availability. Never got a response-it was a bot I guess and I didn't realize it. They didn't have one so the bot didn't work well. The area is sketchy and we did not feel safe. Never again. It was gross.

Get what you pay for
Hotel was okay, definitely got what we paid for. The front desk staff was very friendly so that was a plus. There are no restaurants near the hotel, and the hotel has no dining options on site except for the standard breakfast. Room was okay, we had glass on our floor when we checked in and the floors and walls were super dirty and the shower wouldn't drain but the bed was clean and comfy so we made do. There are no mini fridges and the vending machines were out of water so couldn't keep anything cool. Hotels.com said it had shuttle to and from airport, got to hotel and it was $12USD each way and the hotel would not budge on price. The shuttle driver dropped us off at the complete wrong spot in the airport when we checked out and we had to race around to find the correct location 2 levels up. As mentioned, it was fine for the price but won't be back.

After check-in, I was on the third floor and had to go outside and walk a distance to get to the elevator to the third floor. It did not feel safe to me. My room did not have a chain on the door, which also did not make me feel safe. The room was large with a big bathroom and the bed was comfortable with good pillows. The hotel is very outdated and a little rundown. The price was great, but I had to pay a shuttle to pick me up from the airport and take me back at $12 a pop. Would probably not stay there again. The staff was nice and helpful.
