A/C Needs Work
Room was dusty. But the biggest turn off was the A/C in the room. Thermostat was set at 65 degrees when I got there and it never cooled down. I turned it up to 70 degrees thinking the unit was frozen, and still we were sweating and didn't sleep with any covers on.

We've stayed here many times and will stay again. However, the property seems to be becoming a little run-down now. Just small things: charger port was loose, bathroom floor could have been cleaner, pocket door to bathroom hard to open, hairdryer was dirty. However, the staff are lovely, the bar is definitely a bonus (special praise for the bartenders who are very nice) and the free cookies are divine.

Had to go to another floor to get ice, machine wasn’t working. Desk staff told me to get it on the third floor. Want the next day to get ice and there was water leaking from the ceiling and the tiles were ready to come down. I informed the desk since it looked like an accident waiting to happen. My room Ran out of toilet paper and no back up or tissues. Had to go get more from desk. Water from shower was hot no matter which way you turned the knob it never got even warm or cool only blasting hot. Police were escorting a guest out of his room a few doors down. Shocking no pool available in the summer timing was not good and I didn’t see anyone working on it either. I’m sad to say my stay this time was not good and can’t imagine I will go back.

I’ve stayed here before in another area of the building and the room was much nicer. The room looked far below Hilton Doubletree standards. Bathroom door was split/chipped off on the corner, dirt built up in the corners of the bathroom, the bathroom/air conditioner fan roared constantly, the bed was mediocre-not the typical mattress, the food in the restaurant wasn’t even cafeteria quality. The breakfast was terrible, rubber eggs, rubberized pancake, oatmeal was like soup and had pieces of something in it, I should have had boxed cereal. Not worth the money. Dinner the night before wasn’t even as good as McDonalds. I’ll think twice about booking here again. I had liked it before, not eaten here, but the room was far better. The staff is always nice, the only positive. Hilton you need to fix this place. Oh and the pool is empty, in Phoenix, so no amenities.

Broken pool, stale cookies, wet carpet
I never leave reviews, good or bad. But this place was pretty gross. We chose them for their pool and cookies. We were informed pool was closed as they were building a new one. Sorry, who shuts down their pool in Phoenix in the middle of summer? Their cookies were really bad. The room was also gross. The carpet had a huge wet spot, and smelled musty. Overall bad place. I'm need of major renovation. Staff was nice.
