While there isn't any accommodation in Pigai itself, there are 5 options within 30 kilometres where you can hit the sack (and maybe hit the mini bar).

It doesn't take long to reach downtown Pigai from Mouzaki Palace Hotel & Spa and Montanema Handmade Village (although with beds as cosy as these, you shouldn't be surprised if you wind up running a little behind schedule!)

Another great option is the Hotel Pyli, which is a great option if you aren't worried about travelling 25 kilometres to the centre.

Attractions and Hotels Near Pigai

If you still have itchy feet, why not take off and see more of thessalia region? Among Thessalia's stunning natural wonders are its beaches, coastal plains, forests and rivers. After getting zen in nature, check out ruins. Also, take the opportunity to have a go at one or two popular local pursuits like skiing.

Still haven't got the perfect room? You might just find a lavish enough thread count in Trikala. You'll also be able to explore the Trikala Municipal Folklore Museum and the Archaeological Collection of Trikki. Or, you could stay in Kalambaka, 50 kilometres to the north of Pigai, where you can pick from the Divani Meteora Hotel and Amalia Hotel Kalambaka. If you're staying in Kalambaka, set aside a little time to visit Theopetra Cave and Meteora.

Get a ride 55 kilometres northwest and you'll find yourself in Metsovo, a regional centre with a population of 3,000.
