On your way to Port Ellen? Bear in mind that there are no hotels in or near Port Ellen's centre.

But there's no need to freak out. Tarbert is located around 40 kilometres away and boasts some fabulous places to stay, such as the Stonefield Castle Hotel and Dunvalanree Hotel.

Don't shoot through before you've had a squiz at the Torr Head and Murlough Bay in Ballycastle.
