The hotel is a bit outside of the town but a bus stop is close by. The idea of the hotel is that it combines a hotel with rooms to work from abroad. This attracts a young audience and also the style of the hotel fits to this. The staff is rather friendly and the rooms are clean and decent. You can also enjoy the garden and a tiny pool, but most tend to use it as a base to explore Porto. One pity is that there are only a few restaurants in the neighborhood, but if you enjoy African food, there is a great place fairly close. The breakfast is decent, but don’t expect a breakfast buffet, that is a waste for a small hotel, so you have some good dishes instead. All in all we enjoyed our stay and recommend the place.
Shower mold makes very hard to rate favourably an accomodations
Mini fridge temperature is 14 degrees (measured) and the hotel could not change it or do anything about it. The room was dark. The bed is quite low and that might work for younger folks, but it is a problem for elder folks.
Very nice hotel, good swimming pool, friendly staff. Room was in need of a refrigerator, and hotel some breakfast facilities other than that it was excellent.
We had an amazing stay here. Great facilities and perfect location just outside of the main city. Staff were all very helpful and the food and drinks at the bar were well priced. Easy access to trains and busses but we ended up Ubering into town as it was affordable
Outside Porto Mouco was one of the best experience we have stayed in for a long time. Their front desk and check-in process was seamless.
We had originally booked to stay at another hotel, but because the other property was a fraud. We had to book Outside Porto Mouco within less than 14-hours of check-in. The property was very well maintained and the staff was very friendly and professional.
Their design aesthetic and furniture, along with their architectural design of their interior and outside space was very well considered. We found out that their property had a very generous co-working space downstairs, a yoga room, and pool. Guests can even stay there for over a month, and there membership options.
We would consider staying there again the next time we are in Porto. Overall: 9.5/10
The hotel was very close to one of the train station in Porto but there are not many dining options around the hotel, you can still find mini supermarket, bakery shop pharmacy around the area. However, the subway station is within 10 mins of walking distance, it can take you wherever you wanna go. I really like the interior design of the hotel and I loved the room they provided to me. I will definitely recommend this hotel
We enjoyed the amenities- bar, ability to get ice for my husband’s swollen ankle, getting our boarding passes printed and being given bar soap by cleaning staff when containers in the room were empty.
We were not so keen on the darkness in the rooms nor the reaction of the staff member when we showed the challenges in getting the lights to go on and stay on and she said all the lights in the hotel were random and the electrician didn’t show up to fix the lamp. However overall we were pleased with everything else.
The hotel is far from the city, the parking that you have to pay for it is a nightmare, the front desk lady had a terrible attitude with the worst service, looks like she hates that work.
That’s probably a fact that will keep me from recommending this hotel or staying again here.
Very friendly staff, but this is not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are spacious but very basic with concrete floors and ceiling, bathroom is new but sink doesn't drain and shower pressure poor. Room furnishings are modern but sparse, no coffee maker but an electric water kettle and instant coffee. No refrigerator. Convenient for train station and to metro stations but not to town center. Has a bar and occasionally music in the evening.
