I was pretty disappointed with our stay. I booked the junior suite for 6 nights for my mom and I for her last trip. My mother has been battling stage 4 colorectal cancer and I wanted her to be able to enjoy the view with a book if she was too weak. However, we had hundreds of ants on the terrace, in the bathroom including while trying to take baths or a shower, in the living room, and even had some crawl on my face while in bed. I notified the staff several times which didn’t do much. After the third time, I notified the manager (middle-aged woman with glasses and dark-blonde hair). Instead of apologizing for the issue, she told me that it was us because we are eating in the room. I told her we are not eating in the bathroom which there were hundreds of ants and even more on the terrace and in the living room area which we can not even enjoy the terrace that I paid over $3000 for to enjoy the view. Her statement of that we should not eat in the room is actually illegal and disrespectful for a hotel staff to say that to someone who is paying a ton of money for the view and comfort of the stay. Still nothing happened besides the cleaning people cleaned up the ants. Yet, hundreds more came. We had to close the doors to the terrace early in the afternoon and not go out there as the ants were climbing all over us while we tried to stay out on the terrace.
