I loved the view from my suite, breakfast was lovely, and the hotel staff were pleasant and professional. I would happily stay here again. There are more steps than assumed from the ferry to the hotel but there is a luggage carrier service for EU$10 in the town, or EU$20 from the hotel, both accept credit or debit. Unfortunately guests must take the stairs to visit the hotel.

This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. The staff were amazing and helped me with my departure (organising the porter, helping with ferry ticket info). The breakfast was great with a sensational view. Complimentary water and soft drinks in the fridge each day was a nice touch. House keeping also comes twice a day - very attentive. Yes there are stairs to climb to get to the hotel, but this is the same for everywhere in Positano. It’s worth it for the views at Miramare! Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at Miramare are top notch and treated us like royalty. Shortly after we checked in they sent us a complementary chilled bottle of champagne to welcome us. The minibar was stocked with soft drinks, bottled water and sparkling water.Unlike any other hotel we have stayed at the minibar was free, and restocked daily. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk down to the beach, and a bit longer when walking back because you will have to stop occasionally to catch your breath. The view from our veranda was why we stayed here and it did not last let us down. We had a sea view, Mountain View and a town view. The veranda (it is much too large to call it a balcony) boasted a table and chairs and also had two lounge chairs for sunning and relaxing. BTW, every room has view from the “veranda”. When we checked out the hotel arranged a car to take us back to Naples train station at a very reasonable price that was less than the taxi ride (and not just any car but a spacious Mercedes Benz) If you’re staying in Positano this hotel can not be beat.

What a fabulous place in Positano! The hotel was wonderful and the view from our room patio was amazing! Relaxing, enjoyable, gorgeous! The people at the hotel were helpful and so friendly- a great stay, recommend highly! They help with bags since they are on the hillside and what a help they were! Truly a special place!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff is incredible and helped with everything from booking ferry tickets to dinner reservations. The room was spacious and the patio had a wonderful view. We will definitely be coming back! Stayed at Miramare for 2 nights in June and enjoyed every bit of it. We were able to check in early and leave our bags after check out while we had a boat excursion all day. The concierge was extremely helpful and coordinated our transportation back to the train station in Naples. They even let us rinse off before departing. Breakfast was included and excellent. Bed was comfortable and the views were stunning!

Wonderful stay!
If we ever make it back to Amalfi coast, I would stay here for the week and use a ferry to check out the other towns. Everything about this hotel was superb. Loved the soft and cool bed sheets, the dinner!!, the room and the view!

Views are stunning. Hotel is brutal to get to. Cars cant drive to hotel so we had to carry huge luggage down hundreds of stairs. Had no idea hotel couldve sent someone to help. Would have been nice to know in advance. That said Angela at front desk was a godsend once we arrived helping arrange cars and other logistics during our stay. Cant say enough good things about her. Rest of staff was hit and miss

Stunning hotel in beautiful Positano. Very good breakfast. Staff could not be more accommodating and lovely. Only negative is the guests next door to my room were incredibly loud and their bathroom window opened onto my balcony so heard things I wish I hadn’t.
