We read the reviews after we booked it, so we knew what we were getting in to…the resort itself is kind of in the middle of no where, and the beach has murky water that we didn’t go into. But we LOVED the resort, very clean, the entertainment was super fun, the food was pretty good (download the app and make dinner reservations before you go). I would suggest booking excursions when you get there, we did the island one day to get our blue water and La Hacienda Park and loved both. We were very happy with everything for the price point that we paid! Highly recommend!

Resort is overall good, great service, friendly staff. The only disappointment is the beach, not even close to what a Caribbean beach typically looks like with clear and blue water, this was totally the opposite.

What an amazingly vacation!!! The food was sooooo good, restaurants and buffets!! The rooms were huge; sooo clean and dark and quiet!! I have no complaints! The staff were so kind and helpful!! This property has almost everything. We didn’t find the bikes or the water sports. Amazing massage/facial. And would love to come back but I will never fly frontier again. Such a disappointment!!

Our room did not have ANY outlets near our beds or anywhere in the room for our devices. We had to take out existing appliances and use those outlets. The food selection and options were lacking for a luxury hotel. Hot food was often cold, meat served at their marquee restaurant was not cooked through.

The good: The resort is nice and clean. Small resort so short walks to wherever you needed to go whether it's the lobby, bars or restaurants. The bad: I knew the beach wasn't going to be great, but I didn't expect it to look out to a gas refinery. Took away the whole 'paradise' vibe you expect when you go on holiday. House keeping kept forgetting to leave out coffee creamer and the mini bar was a joke, despite asking several times if they could put a bit more rum in there. Food was bang average at best.

Expansive Beach ! However ALOT of bugs....I have many itchy bites! Likely due to muddy river that runs into properties private bay and reason why water is not clear. Food selections limited conpared to other BAHIA properties....but still okay. New Years Eve celebration very nice with excellent food selections. Toilet, TV and AC needed attention while we stayed, but was fixed quickly. But expect an early morning call (before 9) to check on maintainance visit. No frozen drinks because of lack of blenders.....Very chill property with older guest demographic. Overall nice stay.

The staff was very friendly, but there was a language barrier. We could not confirm the events or the location of the event. The website they kept insisting we use was also not functioning until the last day. The property was immaculate and well-manicured. Accept the water leak we had in our room after we arrived a day late due to the airlines.

the property is sort older building: shower is not strong enough, bedding sheet is not decent, comforter is older. My airport left over in lobby coffee table, but not found it back. My FindMe showed it was showed up in a resident area for a day without moving, indicate the picker of the device is local resident, most likely is the hotel staff.

The checkin was smooth, the whole resort had an awesome tropical paradise look, the room was clean and had nice private view. The food options were above average with many cuisines for your liking. The staff were great and catered to my needs. I also liked the all adults part because it made my stay more relaxed not having to deal with children issues. This trip was definitely worth it and made the right choice because I like to eat real good foods.
