A weekend in Qingdao
As Holiday Inns in China go, this one was actually very good. The free breakfast was very nice, with plenty of Western and Chinese foods to choose from. The bed was what I would call pretty close to the Western standard of softness, and the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel was impressive.

Desk staff was always very helpful and courteous, most spoke very good English, and were always happy to help with local directions, helping with directions for taxi, etc. Very nice hotel, and great breakfast!

The hotel is clean and there are many eateries nearby. Conveniently located near the airport. However the bathroom is a little small and feels cramped as there is not much room for movement. The room is neat and simple. Minimalistic design. Overall a good experience.
