The rooms were great (small but great). The food was very expensive in the hotel. The cafe did not need to be quite so expensive. The pool also needs a better viewing area. Its difficult to see your children from inside. Overall we would be back.

PRO: Great starting point for an Old Quebec City visit. The rooms are clean. CON: Sadly, the hotel feels old and neglected. The rooms are small and the mattresses were probably firm at some point, but not anymore... The (only) exterior pool closes at 8pm; no whirlpools and no steam rooms inside or out. The pool, sauna and mini-gym are also heavily used by the local population on a "pay-per-visit" scheme. I suspect that Hilton is NOT the pool manager. Hardly the Hilton standards I'm accustomed to!

Definitely not a 4-Star
The hotel needs a renovation based on the room we stayed at. The bathroom door paint was chipped off, the tub had its top layer chipped as well. Housekeep also was not up to par for a 4-star hotel, there was a visible layer of dust on the light figures and the desk was not wiped down. Overall the feel and comfort of the room was lacking. We asked housekeeping for slippers (once by my wife and a second time by me) and we were given different reasons for them being out of stock. My recommendation would be to go with a small boutique hotel centrally located in the old town for the same price as the Hilton. The standard nightly rate is too damn high for the level of this hotel.
