Great location, but the room was very small and not well soundproofed — we could hear everything from the next room. We asked for cleaning once, but they just quickly tidied up without actually cleaning (no vacuuming or bathroom cleaning). Service was average overall.

It was right it the city center, everything was walkable. Bus stop was 4 minute walk away and went straight to the airport. Lylo was very clean and the staff are very helpful and it has a roof top bar. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great location unfortunately Miss Lucy’s was closed entire time we were there this was something we had looked forward to as our son had stayed in the Auckland property the kitchen was very crowded so cost more to go out which was a shame and would have helped to know before booking . Staff in Lylo were lovely

My stay was great, but the kitchen was too small for the number of people staying at the hostel. Now that it is high season, it was complicated to cook or prepare something quick. Also, the activities shown at the entrance aren't updated or don't exist.
