Very comfortable, clean and convenient location. Handy having the cafe / restaurant downstairs but was not impressed with the service for dinner or the attitude of one of the breakfast staff. All the others were delightful. A shame when one rude staff member can make a guest uncomfortable and impact a stay. A shame for all the other pleasant and hardworking staff.

Nice hotel, does the job. Did have to remind staff a few times to service our rooms. The hotel oddly has rooms on the ground floor so your window may be on street level which was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that staff were lovely and the hotel was nice.

The view from the room over towards the Remarkable Ranges was spectacular. I loved that the room had a washer and dryer and a small kitchenette. All rooms have their own air conditioner to control temperature. Only criticism would be the comfort of the pillows would be nice to have some choices.. otherwise we will be back and staying again for sure!

Hotel is clean and in good condition however the room was only serviced once during our stay. The tea/ coffee milk wasn’t replenished as part of this and they turned the aircon off, this meant by the time we got back in the evening the room was boiling and we couldn’t sleep.

We stayed in a similar room in Auckland, and expected similar or better services. 1. The attached restaurant accepts non hotel guest. Those guest are directed to restrooms across from our hotel room. 2. There’s no safe in the room to secure personal items. 3. No way to cast streaming (Netflix) to the tv. 4. There are NO drawers to place clothing. We emptied the utility drawer to have at least one. 5. There’s no ice machine available.
