Excelente hotel, fueron muy amables al recibirnos incluso antes de la hora. Habitacion sencilla, limpia y muy comoda.

Such a beautiful place in the middle of nature. I loved their pool and food was amazing (we got the “full board” option for all of our meals paid for and it was definitely worth it, buffet style, delicious). Staff were incredible, kind and always helpful! Clean rooms - with all you need. Since you are in the middle of the forest, you get awaken by howler monkeys and birds, which I loved - being right inside the forest. Fan helped keep it nice and fresh at night, exactly what we needed! Perfecto location for us … in front of the town, 5 min by boat! Very private, and yet close to town! I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you!

What a place to stay. Free boat transfer to and from the little airfield. Really nice food and drinks. Rooms don’t have AC but are wide open and well ventilated. However those are small points compared to the entire area of the hotel and the surroundings. You walk one way to the beach, it’s full of little seating areas, pontoons and places to just enjoy the nature and surroundings. We spent evenings on a pontoon watching the sun set, afternoons in the hammock on the balcony your room has, and the hot days by the pool. Iguanas randomly wander around the place, and visited the pool on our last day. Howler monkeys occasionally swing by, and there are endless birds, one we didn’t notice was 2 meters away from us whilst we were enjoying the pontoon. We went in turtle laying season, and saw a wild turtle laying its eggs. There are boat tours, night hikes, canoe expeditions, hikes and other activities, all with endless wildlife around. Truly a wonderful place and experience.

This place was great and to find out that they’re improving on current amenities is why I’ll be back

Tortuguero is such a cute town! We weren’t sure we wanted to make the drive but we loved it. The boat ride from La Pavona is beautiful and the town is great for walking around and shopping. We took a guided night hike and saw a turtle laying eggs on the beach! The staff were very nice and helpful and the air conditioning in the rooms was nice. Only stayed one night but loved it!
