Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable. I noticed my room was quite cold, but it’s Iceland in October so I didn’t mention assuming it was just the building in general. In the morning while checking out, I happened to brush against the heat panel and it seemed to be not on with no heat coming off it, I was leaving so I wasn’t about to complain. There was no thermostat to adjust it either. Hindsight, I should have mentioned it but I was rushing and forgot to. I would have preferred to not be on the first floor either it was a little noisy at street level at times. I did love their eco friendly made in Iceland products! I did not have any meals on the property.

The food was amazing and the mattresses and pillows some of the best I’ve slept on. The lounges and restaurant is so well decorated and gives such a relaxing spa like feel. I loved staying here. Will only stay here if I visit again

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect. The restaurant has amazingly good food and the staff was friendly. The hotel is cozy and warm which is exactly what you need when you’re staying in Iceland. I also have celiac disease and the restaurant did a great job of providing food options for our stay. We will be back!
