Nice staff. Arrived late at night from my excursion amd moving from different hostel. I called the after hours check in phone number and found out that I wasn’t booked that night but the following night. The lady was nice, came amd checked me in. The place is quiet and clean. Comfortable bed. I would book this place again when I go back to Iceland.

Great place to stay. Having a full kitchen was amazing. Shared bath and toilet sounded awkward, but actually we rarely saw anyone else, and never had to wait.

We enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Sunna. The location is incredible. Rooms very nice. There was a tad bit of street noise. Yes, the water has a sulfur smell. We lived with it. Would stay here again!

I was so impressed by this guesthouse! The twin room with bathroom was clean, comfortable, and great for a single or a couple. My friends had a balcony in their twin with bathroom. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and they are very well organized for travellers with lots of readily available information. There are shared kitchens for the budget conscious because food in Iceland is incredible expensive. (2 small coffees, a tea and 3 croissants $33). Breakfast was basic continental but had some boiled eggs and some cheese and ham slices for protein. This is a lovely new building and I can’t emphasize how clean it was. Everything was remarkably spotless! The ovation is right outside the big church so you have a wonderful view as well as landmark to find your way home. There’s a grocery store around the corner and a coffee/breakfast place with fantastic coffee next door.

The staff are kind and helpful, everything is spotless and the street is quiet. If you don't mind climbing stairs to your room, the hotel is perfectly located next to the Hallgrimskirkja and from there, easy walking to countless interesting sights across Reykjavik.

Sauna has a very nice location for most everything. Bus stop 8 is across the street. Lots of places to eat and shop. The front desk let us have our room early which was so nice after arriving with our early flight. Breakfast was great as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Clean room with sink and washcloth. Wasn’t able to open the window because of the exterior painting going on. I could see the church from my window and it was a good breakfast (must show staff your key when you go down to ensure it’s included.)

The location is perfect. The facility is very clean and quiet. The staffs are kind and helpful. The only thing that we didn’t know is there is no elevator. We have to carry the luggages up and down.
