Lots to love and enjoy about this property. Our only complaint was the lack of our upgrade. We were initially offered it only to be told the air wasn't working so we should go get something to eat at the bar. However 3 hours later and the room still wasn't ready. We were given another room which was absolutely fine but not the upgrade we should have got. The pool areas were amazing, plenty of beds available every day. Only downside of the pool area was the lack of umbrellas for the beds. There were umbrellas available for the chairs/tables but not for the sunbeds. The bar and restaurant were great, particularly loved the swim up bar. Food was great, no complaints there. Access to the beach was convenient, and beds available too. Towels at the towel bar are easy to pick up/drop off on your way too and from. There are guys/girls who hang around the entrance to the beach offering water taxis, excursions and selling items from food, jewelry and clothing. They don't pester you if you politely decline. It is very convenient to walk from the hotel to the various restaurants and bars during the day or in the evening. There are lots of security employed by each hotel so you never feel unsafe. As I mentioned earlier we were out of season so I think the choice of restaurants was a little less but we still found some great places to eat. We can recommend the Argentinian Grill and Paradise.

The public areas were well kept and clean. As for the room, it was clean and fit our needs perfectly. Unfortunately, the sliding glass door with the lock was quite hard to open and close, the safe's batteries were dead and the dishwasher's top rack was falling out when we arrived. The safe was immediately fix. I didn't report the door or dishwasher as I'm not on vacation to do a pre-check of the room and schedule maintenance for IB. Also, there wasn't a sharp knife in the place. It would seem there was no pre-check of the room prior to our arrival to make sure everything was in working order. I admit the dishwasher may have actually functioned but was not going to try it with the condition it was in. I just used it as a drying rack.

The two pools on the property were amazing. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful with very easy access to the coral reefs to go snorkeling. Best location on West Bay Beach. Walk to restaurants and can sign up for activities right on the beach in front of the resort. Would highly recommend for families and would stay here again

Fabulous location right on West Bay Beach; two huge pools (never crowded when we went); our room was huge with 2 bdrm 2 bath w/living/dining/kitchen and 2 balconies (one huge); the breakfast buffet was really great and changed up a bit daily; the pier right next to us meant super easy to get water taxies...But the real stars were the staff who were so helpful, friendly, thoughtful, and efficient. We were treated so well! And honestly we were treated well by all the Hondurans we met; they were gracious and kind to us as strangers in their country. The gift shop was a little small BUT the staff person there was EXTREMELY helpful to us and they did have a fairly good collection of souvenirs. The Dive Shop also very friendly and helpful to us. La Palapa Bar and Grill was right on beach and service was great, food good, drinks yummy. One tip - use something to prevent sand flea bites on your legs - since I did not see many bugs thought it was fine but the sand fleas got me anyway. (Rinsing off good right after beach time would have helped, I think, and there were a couple of outdoor showers). Oh, there are elevators, very helpful for two oldsters. Although I might like to try an Air BnB on a quieter beach, my husband is ready to go right back to Infinity Bay now!

The resort was nice and very clean. However, the living room area was freezing and the actual bedroom was hot which made it uncomfortable to sleep. One thing that stood out was how early the pool closed—9 PM feels a bit too early, especially considering there was often no one around. It would’ve been great to have the option to enjoy a late-night swim. The breakfast offered was good, but I found it inconvenient that both lunch and dinner weren’t included. Having to pay a driver $40 to get to a nearby spot (only 5 minutes away) just for lunch felt unnecessary and frustrating. The food at the restaurant downstairs was okay and overpriced I had ordered nachos and they were just soggy so you have no choice but to go somewhere else.Nice stay overall, but a few adjustments could really improve the experience.

Property was beautiful, staff was friendly. The only thing is they said I only reserved for one guest so the charged me an extra $100 for my husband. When I got on the app apparently I did only reserve for one guest but when I check it would have been the same price for 2 guest because of the room I picked. So they over charged me for that. we visited in 2022 and had the best time. We expected the same this year. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience. A few things were against us as the hotel had a large event going on so the staff were at full capacity. Restaurant service was horrible (1 hour wait for a plate of nachos). We had a group with 3 kids and this was not acceptable. Check was made very confusing because of an overwhelmed staff. Again, felt that many aspect of the property had gone downhill in the past three years. Biggest issue was the service.

The property was in a very good location and the beach area was nice. Going from the resort to the beach area needs some work on steps going down to beach. The hot water in our room was nonexistent and the maintenance guy came and checked on it two times and it still didn't work.

Paradise by the Beach

We've been staying in the 2 bedroom units for the last 12 yrs. They haven't changed much but you have everything you need and you're not in the condo that much. Mainly to sleep and the beds were incredibly. The property is immaculate. Well kept. The pool is pristine. I don't get in pools that much but I have no problem jumping into this one. Its crystal clear. The beach is steps away from the rooms and you can snorkel right off the beach. No need to pay for a trip in a boat. The breakfast buffet has everything you'll want. The food is great especially the omlets. The Palapa pool bar serves lunch & dinner. We mainly have lunch and dine at other wonderful restaurants on the island for dinner. Love their tacos and burgers...they make the best Pina Colada and Monkey Lala's. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping are all so accommodating. We can't wait to go back.
