The hotel had the appearance of a no-tell motel hourly rate point. It is old, with a stained shower carpet, pitted metal appliances. I would recommend it to no one.

Great airport hotel
We really enjoyed our stay here! We picked a room for four people (three adults and a baby) and loved how big the room was. It was clean and comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with more drinks than were used to getting free. The staff members were nice, and checking in and out was easy. Also the hotel is connected directly to the airport terminals, so it can’t be beat for convenience. We’d recommend!

We had an early morning flight out of Rome and were concerned about getting to the terminal early so that we could take care of checking luggage and getting Customs VAT refund in plenty of time for our flight. Additionally, we were returning a rental car at the airport the evening before leaving Rome. Staying at Hello Sky was PERFECT! The walk from car rental return to the hotel was all indoors and took just 2 minutes. Additionally, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the hotel to the terminal, all indoors and all signage clearly marked. We checked into our clean, quiet and safe hotel room and then did a “trial run” to the terminal to understand what we’d need to do in the morning. Having all this knowledge under our belts, we were able to sleep well in a quiet room with a comfortable bed, take a refreshing hot shower in the morning, and make our way to the terminal early enough to eliminate all stress. I had read a few negative reviews before booking at Hello Sky, and I’m so pleased to say that my experience was STELLAR and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Comfortable place to sleep at the Rome airport
The hotel is good for what it is - a place to sleep at the airport. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use some work as the shower overflowed all over the bathroom floor due to a very slow drain.

For $350 I expected much more. However, this property caters to people like me who spend an overnight before getting on an early morning flight. The staff was excellent, more than courteous, and helpful. The property isn’t well kept up as the white walls show the marks and abuse of luggage banging against them all the time. Room temperature was really comfortable and the bathroom and shower more than adequate. The bed, in my opinion was just not comfortable at all and I slept fitfully all night. All in all, it served its purpose at a premium price that really doesn’t deliver the value I expected.

Convenient, unless you have bags to check
The good: It's super convenient for our upcoming flight to already be in the airport. The not so good: The woman wasn't particularly friendly and she wouldn't let us leave our bags until a room was ready, the bathroom floors and walls could use a good cleaning, the open shower sprays a lot of water on the floor, the thermostat was locked so we were cold, and the TV only had a few working channels. Overall, we would stay again, for the convenience factor.

The services were very good. The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable. The problem with our room was that the shower drain was clogged and the water quickly backed up. It didn't allow us to enjoy showering during our short stay.
