The hotel was overall acceptable. The beds were not very comfortable at all, hard as rocks! The restaurant offered a great breakfast. We ate there for lunch and was just "ok". The hotel was very clean though and the staff was friendly. The shuttle to the airport was prompt and convenient.

Perfect family owned boutique hotel.
Hotel Golden was a perfect location for our 3 days in Rome! We have never traveled to Europe and I chose the hotel based on reviews and it did not disappoint. What made it a perfect choice was the above and beyond service of the family that owns it! From restaurant recommendations to taxi calls to the overall friendliness, we felt so welcome. The neighborhood is walkable and the property is a quiet boutique hotel that was comfortable and quaint. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!

The check in and front desk staff were fine and the room was clean but worn and the beds and pillows were not comfortable. Disappointing for a Hilton property. But my biggest complaint was the airport shuttle service, our main reason for staying there. We got on the 4:15 am shuttle on 14/10/24 to catch our 7:00 am flight, the driver was in his seat with the engine off. The shuttle driver started the engine and quickly took off with no warning before I was seated. As I was heading for a seat, the driver made a sharp right turn which threw me off balance and I hit a bar hard on my left upper thigh which was very painful and has hurt ever since. I now have a significant bruise where I hit the bar, I have a picture of the injury, but I don’t see any link to include it with my comments.

The room overall was fine the hallways carpet was old and torn and needed to be repaired. The buffet breakfast that was $20 the food wasn't properly covered and there was gnats flying around
