Everything was excellent - large and beautiful rooms, lovely staff and good service. Only gripe was the elevator renovations during our stay, it made checkout and leaving the hotel rather difficult as there's over 20 floors, and several layers of car parks. The elevators were always packed to the brim as they were so slow and you'd often be waiting 10 minutes to see that elevator was full and that you needed to wait even longer.

We arrived at the property at 2:30 PM and we were advised that the room was not ready. Their check-in type is stipulated at 2:00 PM. Likewise, we left the room at around 7:30 am for an early meaning. We got back at around 2:30 and our room was not yet cleaned. Really very poor service.

Renovations and only 1 lift in a 23 level property was an issue for all staying. Check in experience was not consistent with the other two rooms I was staying with (different counter staff for me than the other two) rooftop facilities were awesome but the lift access was lengthy with the single lift room was dated and outside windups were pretty dirty but they are renovating I’m sure it’ll be great once work is completed.

Front desk staff were constantly on phone during busy check in and out times leaving guests enjoy standing in queue for the basic stuff. Elevator is in last century. See better running elevators un third world countries. Value for money, but avoid if you expect basic stuff from this " 5 star " brand like smooth check in and functioing elevator so you can go to you room, forget about it. They should return 2 hours worth room ccost per say as all guests have been wasting while waiting for elevators at least 2 hours a day. Do better Pullman. Please.

Could not fault the staff. Courteous & considering the below - they did the best they could. Firstly, the elevator(s) are going through renos. Which wasn’t communicated when booking, or at reception during check in. During peak times there was 1 lift out of 3 working. I was told by reception they “could” open the service lift if urgent, but never saw this happen. My feedback would be, open this up during your peak times. At times I waited almost 10 mins for a lift, and ended up walking up or down the stairs to accomodate this. I am a fit, middle aged person & would hate for others to be put in this kind of situation. My room - overall, huge. Comfy bed & quiet. Great location. What was wrong: + the heating didn’t work (fixed the day after) + there was a leaking window, was given towels to catch the water. Which thankfully after all the rain Sydney have been experiencing, stopped for the last couple of days I was there. + the phone did not state on it a reception line, So I ended up having to head down & report these things. + huge balcony - but after attempting to go out there once, I was unable to get out & back in without breaking my arms or hands, I never used it again. Reported to reception, and unsure if it got fixed. The night before check out, I came back to the hotel late with a fruit platter in my doom (left out on the counter), along with a note of apology. It was a kind gesture, and appreciated, but a little too late as I was checking out the next morning.
