Very tired hotel. Well situated in the center of Sydney but the hotel itself is in serious need of some TLC. Room look into center of hotel so very dreary. The staff was lovely but they have limited options to work with.

I had a wonderful stay at The Grace Hotel in Sydney. The property is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot—everything you need is just a short walk away. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also treated myself to a spa session at the hotel’s on-site facility, and it exceeded expectations—relaxing, professional, and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place to stay in the heart of Sydney. If I had to make any suggestions, it would be to add some drawer storage in the rooms, as there was only hanging space available. Also, the nozzle on the hairdryer didn’t stay securely attached. These were very minor issues, though, and did not detract from an otherwise excellent experience.

Great location, old world charm

I requested a higher floor away from the lift and I was on the 8th floor on the other side of the building from the lift, thankyou for confirming. Lovely renovations, clean, tidy and easy accessible.

The Grace Hotel is in a great location, close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, attractions etc but also quiet enough that it feels like an "escape". We had an internal facing room which, while initially felt a little strange, was actually a great thing because we couldn't hear traffic, sirens etc at all! The room was well appointed, beds and pillows really comfy, bathroom spotless and had everything you need for a short stay.

A really lovely hotel in a great location and close to everything that we wanted to see and do (theatre, shopping, culture). Very clean with super, helpful staff. The building itself is really worth a tour - there’s history in its bones methinks! We had a deluxe twin and it suited us down to the ground - comfy beds and a good amount of space. Restaurants…We were unable to try the Japanese, as it was fully booked, but were directed to a restaurant not far away and it was great. We also had snacks and drinks at one of the (very) local eateries/ bars (the Charles I think it was called). Really nice bar with some interesting small plates to choose from. We heard that the Irish bar in The Grace was also excellent, but sadly didn’t have the time to try it. So in summary, I would highly recommend a stay here!!
