The view was pretty much the only good thing about this hotel. It was great for watching the NYE fireworks, but we had to suffer through the following:
1. On arrival, there was no accessible entry into the hotel and luggage had to be carried up flights of stairs through the back entrance. The reception was completely unapologetic about this
2. Room service was shoddy, happening only when the sign was hung outside the door and even when they did come by, garbage was not thrown/utensils not washed or replaced/amenities not replenished/surfaces left unclean
3. We had four keycards for two rooms, all of which stopped working at some point or the other over a 4 night stay. Any time these had to be replaced, both the room keycards had to be replaced at the same time - again with no apology from staff
4. On the final night, the fire alarm went off at 1:30 am. The evacuation was unclear, the reception staff could not answer if we needed to bring our aged parents down the stairs or not and kind of just shrugged it off, the few of us who had evacuated were told ''everything is fine'' some time later with no explanation, and no apology made for the whole experience
5. On checkout, we were informed by reception that the account was settled. A few days later, we were charged on the credit card on file - which is fine if there were any pending charges, but we received no notification or invoice for said charges from the hotel, but simply charged without explanation
Would not recommend.
