This hotel has the charm of old Italy, which is what I was looking for. Great location to Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and piazza’s.

Nice convenient location. Building, foyer, restaurant are renaissance style, looking pretty impressive. Rooms -- I had 2 rooms -- very small, rough mattresses, poor plumbing. Shower cabin in one of the rooms is 2x2 feet. AC is strong, but noisy. Rooms have no sound proof whatsoever.

We arrived after a long day of exploring Rome and the Room for 3 that we had requested had only been made for two. I went down to the front desk and they immediately (15 minutes) had the maid and bell hop bring and set up a pull out twin to the room. They forgot to bring extra towels so I went back down stairs to the front desk to grab quick linen and was immediately given linen. Once settled into the room we realized the toilet was broken and did not flush. I attempted to call down to the front desk and the line was busy for over 5 minutes. I then went down to the front desk again and was patiently waiting since the front desk had new guests checking in. The front desk lady stopped helping the guests and then proceeded to shout across the lobby what else I needed and why I didn’t call the front desk. I explained to the issue of the toilets not flushing and then she proceeded to scold me that I should have called the phone. I explained to her, that I did and she continued to shout that I did it incorrectly. I went back up to the room with the bell hop and he noted that the toilet was broken and they would have maintenance look at it tomorrow. I asked him to make sure that these events were noted so that I could speak to management the next morning as it was late in the night. In the morning, the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. I had to then ask again for the toilet to be fixed. I asked if I could speak to management and they were off for the weekend.

18 minute walk to the Colosseum, 12 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Clean, friendly staff, breakfast buffet perfect. We ate dinner in the Rossini restaurant in the Hotel. Food was amazing. Highly recommend.

It is an old-style hotel that prizes service, from the concierge who can make reservations and call taxis for you, to the restaurant manager who can help you with wine choices. The food in the restaurant was excellent overall, especially the ravioli, not at all like Italian-American cuisine, but small-scale with artisanal ingredients. I also had excellent spaghetti caccio e Pepe and also pesto which were delicious. Don’t miss the focaccia, which again is nothing like what we get in the US, but is so much lighter and more flavorful. My only disappointment was that the room was supposed to have had a tub/shower and only had a shower. The room was small but elegant except that it did not have a mirror of any kind, outside of the one over the bathroom sink. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were of a very high quality. I would definitely stay here again! One caution- using the app from the US, the price was more than €200 more expensive than what was available when I landed in Europe. I suggest using a VPN to see the best prices.

We enjoyed the location. It was great to have restaurants so close and a McDonald’s for my son. Your security guard was very good to us and helped us get paper and a pencil for my son to draw. Thank you for the stay. We will remember our trip forever.

Great location that is walkable to most tourists sights. This property is located about 7 min walk from the train station and about a 10 min walk to the Spanish Steps. The staff were outstanding. We took a cab to the Colliseum, it was only $11 usd. Tons of authentic Roman restaurants and Mccafe are within a 2 min walk. The pub across the street is so much fun

Beautiful Hotel
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, great service and cleanliness. I would definitely recommend. Hotel is located in the centre of Rome and is near many attractions.

Not 4 star hotel as claimed by Expedia or Hotels
If you are vegetarian than breakfast is not good. It’s near to Roma termini but surrounded area is not good, it’s safe but you will not feel like paying this much for the area. Hotel is very old and they tried to add amenities but it’s not adding up. In bathroom, shower area is not good and water is always coming out because the way they have done the shower area. Not worth of the money.
