The pits!
Waited with a 10yr old child in the street at 9pm, no one there to let us in, no answer on phone first 4 calls. Eventually got answered with “oh you are there, I’ll be with you in 15 minutes. Got in at 9.45pm!! I had requested bedding for the bed settee in July, 3 months previously....not ready but shown bedding in wardrobe. Two sheets and the towels were clean but the pillows and duvet were unusable. I put one to my nose and had to run to the bathroom to be ill! Damp, wdank, mouldy smell...revolting. After a very long cold night I messaged for a blanket which didn’t come! I got a duvet for night three but by now was coughing badly. Wasn’t told how to operate the heating so couldn’t turn on. Do not be fooled by the photos...everything is extremely shabby! Lots of lamps but only one works, no ceiling light. Bathroom door won’t close so always a gap...no privacy. Window shutters mostly don’t close either, nor does the bedroom door. So many coats of paint nothing closes. Bathroom window completely rusted. Dish rack, rusted. Anything metal that isn’t painted, rusted. Whole place stinks of damp, particularly the bedroom, the wicker basket in the lounge would take your breathe away..do not lean over it and breath! No tv. Patio shabby and uncared for, lots of pots of dead plants or weeds. Only a few electric sockets work. Entry through a jail like cage, 2 flights of dark narrow stairs, locks difficult to open, especially in the gloom. On a positive note it is central and hot water
