The staff were very friendly and always very helpful. Our room was a bit different to what was shown on the photos. It was dated and required both a heater and the aircon on to keep the room warm. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was clean. I think it’s best for this hotel to share more photos of their rooms so that guests know that some rooms are very different to others. Or at least ask for a modern shower when you book as ours was an old bathtub with a very old fixed head shower where in the photos it showed a modern new shower and bathroom. The lobby area and lounge was very nice to sit and relax in by the fire.

Room layout wasn't good, bedroom had hardly enough space for the beds, you had to squeeze through to get out. Lounge also only had two uncomfortable chairs but room was for three people. Decor dated.

The upstairs bedroom was very noisy when people walked around and the last night the person upstairs was active till 2 am very disturbing.
