Pros; great location, overall nice property, very nice staff. Cons: Lots of mold on the wall and ceiling, electrical outlets not secure, moldy dirty shower.

This was our 3rd trip to Santiago. Hotel is in a great location. Check-in staff were terrific, room was perfect size and very clean but there was a strong smell of a deodorizer that took awhile to clear out once we opened windows (this is the only reason we rated "condition" with one less star). In the past our hotels have been able to validate San Clemente parking for a discounted rate. This time the hotel had no second validation card and we paid full price to park because there was no guard on duty early in morning when we had to leave for airport to show them the hotel-stamped card. But other than these 2 items the hotel was GREAT!!

Very pretty building and very convenient to the cathedral but I probably would not stay here again because the room was very loud with the sounds from the little street below - I even had earplugs in and could still hear the conversations of people. I was also disappointed that the room had very little storage - no drawers, only one closet. No amenities provided such as dental kit, lotion, shoe kit, etc. Breakfast did not have meats or eggs, coffee was not available once breakfast ended. Lovely, simple property but missing some of the basics.
