I noticed upon arrival the neighbirhood was bad. But it was close to a business i needed to visit, so I checked in. I am normally very tolerant of odors. However,the room had such a strong insecticide/cleaner odor i got a sore throat staying in it for 30 min. So I went downstairs to tell them and there was no staff at the desk. So, I left and found another hotel and called expedia to cancel and refund. Well, after hours of expedia and I trying to reach them on the phone, and no answer, i returned to the hotel. They said I couldnt cancel, expedia had to call them, while at the same time the phone was ringing and they wouldnt answer it. Finally with expedia on my cel, and calling at the same time on their landline, they answered, and gave in. Truly a miserable experience and a waste of many hours.
