Everyone knows that time spent in nature can improve your well-being, both mental and physical. Keeping that in mind, why don't you journey 35 kilometres out of Sasu to Gayasan National Park? Mt. Biseul, 25 kilometres away, is another excellent option.
Venture 18 kilometres southeast to Daegu World Cup Stadium to catch an exhilarating live game of soccer. Located in Daegu, this arena is the home of the Daegu FC, so kit yourself out in blue and white and get set to cheer!
The Kyungpook National University and the Daegu National Museum are not far from the centre of Daegu, 9 kilometres to the southeast. Eager for more? Goryeong, 25 kilometres to the southwest of Sasu, has Goryeong Daegaya Historic Site and Dodongseowon Confusian School.
Gyeongju sits 70 kilometres away from Sasu and is an important part of the local area. Surrounding attractions include the Gyeongju National Museum, Bomun Lake and the Bunhwangsa Temple. Still got some time to kill? Gyeongju World Culture Expo Park and Royal Tomb of Queen Seondeok are also within easy reach.

When it's time to fly home, make sure you have ample time to get to Gimhae Airport (PUS). Situated 90 kilometres to the southeast from Sasu, this is the nearest terminal.
