If you're arriving from the city centre, you'll need to journey 11 kilometres southwest.

A lot of this city's sights are scattered near Schiphol, and the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are two of the most outstanding. The gotta-see sights of the Stedelijk Museum and Concertgebouw are also on your doorstep. While you're here, consider going to some other neighbourhoods to experience more of what Amsterdam has to offer. Schiphol Airport and Badhoevedorp are some great areas that are within easy reach.
