Maybe a gem in it's time but washed out...avoid this place.

The door was left unlocked. No one to greet us. Horrible security. Someone could have gotten in condo and waited for us. Scary. Kitchen air Vent filthy, blanket filthy. Paint was old and icky. Shower in master leaked and was horrible. table in the living area was wobbly and dangerous. Glad we didn't have young kids. The refrig and floors and sinks were clean. Communication was awful. no solutions just sorry for inconvenience. No control over heat. We are hosts ourselves and this is embarrassing property. We will never rent this place again and will shy away from Vacasa properties in the future. Management was awful. They gave us information for the wrong property via text. just icky experience we have loved all the vrbo's weve stayed in until this experience. Needs an overhaul of furniture paint and fixing all the broken things on the property. The carpet was disusting. we took pictures it was so gross. Avoid this place. Wish we would have stayed at the Westin.

Location

Communication was great and quick. The building is old but the place was clean. The space was perfect for our family of four. The road was noisy with traffic but we had no trouble sleeping. Perfect location to easily walk to various restaurants and lumen field.

Seattle stay

It was sufficient for a couple nights before our cruise. Watered down liquid soap in at least one of the bathrooms and no extra trash bags for kitchen waste basket. Though it’s not the properties fault there was a gas leak on our last night at the next block over that could have caused evacuation. That was just an unpleasant possibility.

Great location, okay apartment

This apartment is great for the price and location if you have a big group. We all fit in easily and were able to live there for 4 nights with ease. It's also in a great location. The apartment itself though is fairly old and kind of dingy. That being said, if you have a big group for a few nights in Seattle, I think this is a good spot to stay at.

Would not book again in this condition

The apartment is quite old. The windows don’t seal properly and there is road noise (enough that you can hear it through ear plugs). We booked for 5 and there was no blanket for the pull out couch. The greeter was able to get us one from another apartment. The pullout is horrible. No adult could survive that thing - springs everywhere and incredibly noisy. The window in the bedroom with the twin beds didn’t even have a blind. I had to rig up a sheet to cover it. The ceiling in the bathroom started leaking while we were there. I contacted the maintenance line as soon as we found it and they said they would be in touch the next day. They never contacted us. The king bed was comfortable and the location was ok. I would not book this place again. The booking said the greeter would contact me 1 to 2 days in advance. I was not contacted and had to reach out to Vacasa several times to try and arrange entry. I didn’t hear from the greeter until I got their number and called them a few hours before our flight. I honestly thought I had been scammed.

Avoid this place

We have a very difficult trip with this place. We checked in with our host who told us that the place we rented was not available due to “renovations” and he ushered us to another apartment that has 1 fewer bedroom and 1 fewer bathroom. Our host assured us that he will get us to a bigger apartment the next day but this did not happen until the end of the trip (3 days later). He also had very poor communication with us and he would only respond many hours after a question and won’t get back to us after hours even though he said he will get back to us in 5 minutes (this happened many times). Thus, our minor requests were not fulfilled. We didn’t have the WiFi password for 2 days. After many conversations with our host and customer support, our host said that he will refund us in the end but I have only received partial refund. I am still with customer support trying to get the rest of the refund. Until that happens, I would strong recommend that this location be avoided unless you want to experience a very frustrating stay.

Not Quite As Expected

The positive is the newer kitchen. The negatives are the rest of the property. Windows do not fully close, no screens or safety devices. and you are on the 13th floor. I did not feel completely safe with my 2 children there. This causes it to be very noisy as well. One of the showers makes such a loud noise it is annoying to use, seems like it will blow up. Some baseboards are peeling off the wall. listing describes a shared laundry, in reality it is a laundry room you have to go find coins for or download an app to pay. Overall I felt disappointed with the quality of the property.

1950's apartment building, close to downtown

The king size bed was really comfortable and the newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. It is unusual for an apartment to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is an easy walk to downtown. The neighborhood felt safe. We did not hear much noise from the neighbors. We found a 1/2 used soap bar and half used shampoo bottle in the shower, which made us wonder if the shower was cleaned before we got there. Be aware that due to this building being built before newer building codes there are issues. #1 if you have children be aware that the windows open widely with no safety features and the apartment is on the 13th floor. #2 the washer and dryer are not in the apartment. There is a laundry room with a couple of washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor. #3. The access to the building requires you take stairs. To get into the building from the parking garage we had to go up a long steep set of concrete stairs. (the parking stall was not designed for a large car - it is the city- bring a compact) #4 There is no way to control the temperature in the apartment. There are no thermostats. The heat is run by the building. #5. In the 1950's there were inadequate earthquake codes. Vacasa is a reliable rental company that I have rented from before. They are responsive, but I did have to spend a long time on hold to get help.

Suicide windows!

Windows are low and open wide directly to a 13 floor drop. Window with air conditioning unit does not lock. Loading and unloading car is very challenging with 3 minute parking in front... do not attempt this unit if you are alone with small children... or even if you're not alone. Scary windows!

The small things add up

First, the check-in process isn't self serve. We had to coordinate a time with the local employee, Brian (who was great btw), to show us the parking spot and apartment and give us keys. The parking spot is also tiny. We drove a Chevy Malibu rental and accidentally to scrapes it once on the pillar. If you have an even wider car or no trust in your parking skills, you want might want to reconsider. Also read the description carefully. If you're traveling over the summer when there might be heat waves, the provided portable AC is nowhere near enough. Considering that we were paying over $400/night, you'd think they would provide a better portable AC, not the cheapskate single-hose ac from Amazon that can barely keep the living room from feeling neutral, let alone cool. You're on your own in the bedrooms. Maybe you can open the windows, but it will probably be loud with all the highway traffic. Also the hot water didn't work in one of the bathrooms, while the showerhead was broken in the other. Vacasa did not send anyone to help. The bathrooms also didn't seem to have fans, so you better flush quick unless you want the entire place smelling. Also funny how there was only one bottle of body wash for two bathrooms. When we asked the management company for more, we were told they only provide a "small starter amount of body soap, shampoo, and conditioner" while the bathroom cupboard had an arsenal of shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. The wifi is complete doo doo too. It basically slowed to a crawl with 4 people connected to it (even when we're just browsing the web and not streaming anything). Luckily we had our own hotspots so the internet became usable once only two people were connected. And finally there's the clueless and slow management. If you try to contact management through the vrbo app, you'll just get slow responses (think next day) from somebody (I'm guessing their main branch or whatever) who knows nothing about the property. Eventually we figured out that we had to text Brian directly. Maybe it
