After landing and picking up your bags at Gimpo International Airport, your taxi will travel 12 kilometres east to get to Seodaemun-gu. From the centre of the city, it's a drive of 4 kilometres to the west.

With a great deal of the city's best sights nearby, Seodaemun-gu is a dream for sightseers. From Dongdaemun Market to Gyeongbok Palace, there's lots to keep visitors entertained. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to continue onwards to the National Museum and the Korea University. A good way to better understand this city is to roam around some of its neighbourhoods. So why not venture to nearby Hongjeil-tong and Shinchon and explore their unique charms?
