Lovely island and a great relaxing stay. Super clean with friendly staff. The sun beds are limited and food and drink is a little on the exspensive stay. The resort seems to be half way between a relaxing island and a party island. Once they make a decision and commit to this fully it will be a amazing place to stay.
must do sunrise yoga by the sea and sunset yoga in the forest! find a little cove to swim and sunbathe! have brunch with fresh fruits and fish or pizza for supper. it’s glamping! with sound of crickets and owls, smell of lavender and pine tree, turquose sea and starry sky. service can be slow but the place is fairly well maintained.

No party at night, VERY quiet chilled resort
I have just returned home from my 4 night stay at this island and I am very disappointed with a few things. Pavilion staff VERY rude as were the reception staff, not helpful one bit. Also you advertise the fact you can party at night yet there was not one night where anything was going on that resembled a party. There was movie night which was a Netflix film chosen by a rude staff member, or some music played till not very late. NO party whatsoever, also there was 2 days where your kitchen and pool restaurant had NO gas so no food was being served. This is can’t be helped I understand that but to not be able to have lunch isn’t exactly ideal. Also, you might want to get better lighting for night around the island as I managed to sprain my ankle badly walking down the steps, medical staff were BRILLIANT and cannot fault that! Not very happy with the fact we wanted some sort of nightlife or party and we were in bed by 11 because nothing was going on. Please advertise the fact this is literally a quiet island with nothing to do.....
We loved Obonjan Island - it really is paradise. The tents are gorgeous and comfortable with a lovely outlook. We didn’t book a sea view but could still see the sea though the trees. There is a beautiful pool with pool bar and several restaurants (we tried two of them and enjoyed both. Prices were very reasonable considering you are on an island). We arrived by taxi boat (500 kunas for the boat / 25 mins) and departed by ferry (100 kunas one way pp or 150 return / 60 mins) and enjoyed both. Unfortunately the experience was spoiled somewhat as we had some incredibly noisy neighbours in the next tent and so we hardly slept. Just before 3 am I emailed the resort (who claimed to be available 24 hours) asking to be moved so we could get some sleep - at this stage we didn’t care where to, one of the cheapest tents would have been fine - we just needed sleep. They still haven’t responded, which was a bit disappointing. I was too tired to drive the next day even after sleeping on the ferry and we had to cancel our plans for the next day so lost a day of our trip. However, if you get respectful neighbors, this place is paradise. Minor quibble: we would have loved a kettle (there is a fridge and electricity but no kettle - we had bright coffee and were looking forward to drinking it on the terrace in the morning).
The lodge itself was perfect.we had trawled though loads of reviews ourself before new made the booking and lots of people have been disappointed with their stay. We gave it a go ....
The accommodation- we booked into a forest lodge- sea view and it was a joy to wake up here every morning. The lodge was clean, tidy with a silent air conditioning unit (this is important to me) should you need it - most of the time we were fine.safe, full size fridge (again a pleasant surprise to store big bottles of water/ wine and supplies) and two rooms divided to sleep 4x. The website shows pics of cushions and throws, macrame hangings and general stylish design and it fully delivers on this. A lodge that is a pleasure to stay in with ensuite bathroom a total luxury on a rustic island.
The island itself- don’t bring heels here absolutely no point. It’s not clear when you arrive that A van will take your bags to reception so we wheeled out cases through the rocks, complete nightmare when our bags could have been picked up and escorted first to reception, then to our lodge.
The sea -be aware there are sea urchins bring coral shoes if you can.
The food is overcooked, no delicate seafood or tender chicken salads here. Not enough choice really I found it disappointing and a let down. Wine expensive bring your own! And a must is food shop before you board the boat. Bring cups/ cutlery and bowls to enjoy your veranda. We enjoyed our trip. The days with yoga and pool/ sea time was amazing.
What a great location. Beautiful nature and pure zen. We spent 3 nights and loved it. Pre-booking communication directly with the place was poor. Rooms are great but little run down. Food on the island is pretty expensive, but good quality. Totally loved the music and the events / sports available on the island. The green bar was pure bliss. Perfect escape. Looking forward to returning next year.
Nice concept but poorly managed and full of RATS!!
Overall our experience was terrible. Upon arrival we waited in 40 degree heat for over an hour to check in. Once we had checked in we headed to the bar to find that it stocked only the most expensive wine (no house available). The food was really expensive and poor quality. Accommodation was okay (we stayed in a bell tent) but communal shower areas were filthy and running with cockroaches. Our main concern was that the island was infested with RATS!!! There were rats everywhere in tents and running through tables when eating food. The staff said this "was part of island life" and offered no apologies. The waiter said the restaurants had been fined by the authorities for the rat problem. Overall AVOID THIS ISLAND AT ALL COSTS!!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
3. Meget under bemandet, og tit fik vi svaret: “I do not know”
