We get it! Your boss is on your back and you need to get away, yeah? Why not use your annual leave and check out the gorgeous forests, rivers and streams of Transylvania. Just base yourself in Sic and take it from there.
The country's capital, Bucharest, can be found about 330 kilometres to the southeast of Sic.
There are some iconic sights in the local area. For example, just 30 kilometres southwest of Sic is Cluj-Napoca. From here, you'll be in an excellent spot from which to explore Unirii Square and Avram Iancu Square.
The peaceful sounds of the natural world await you at Cheile Turzii - Turda Gorge. It's situated just 40 kilometres away, so you needn't be stuck in a car all day. Fantanele Lake, 30 kilometres away, is one more recommended option.
Get set to experience some thrilling soccer action at Dr. Constantin Radulescu Stadium in Cluj-Napoca, 30 kilometres away. Don't forget to show your love for home team the CFR Cluj by donning a few pieces of maroon!
