I usually stay at other hotels in Sitges over Easter, but Hostal Termes seemed like it for good reviews for a good price, so thought I’d give them a go!
I wasn’t disappointed!
Reception staff were great and once you’re used to them not being there all the time as it’s a Hostal/Pensio (I’ve never stayed in one before) it’s absolutely fine!
The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are bigger than mine at home! There is air conditioning, a tv, wardrobes and a mini fridge. The balcony has a table and 2 chairs and is a good size.
Rooms were cleaned daily if you wished.
Small downsides (but nothing that wouldn’t make me stay again) are that there is no safe so I stashed my money/passport under the mattress! The decor in my room was a little tired, with some damaged plaster and a leaky shower, but nothing that could be rectified with a bit of TLC. Finally, the walls are quite thin, so I could hear everyone else and there were some guests staying who unfortunately did not have consideration for others so were slamming doors, banging about and only thinking of themselves at 2am.
Other than those small niggles, I would absolutely recommended Hostal Termes! It’s a little gem on a quiet street, 5mins from the centre of town and the beach. Brilliant!
