This was our second visit to Kaya. It won't be our last. The staff were incredible. The location is breathtaking and the access to the 3 Valleys is perfect. Facilities ticked every box. Really nice pool, steam room and sauna. the breakfast filled us up for a long day on the mountains. The evening meals weren't the best value compared to nearby restaurants but were still delicious. This place is an absolute winner.
This hotel is at the end of a red run so great for getting on and off the slopes. The hotel is situated in a better area for skiing as everywhere else seemed overly busy, its easy to go to all areas in the 3 valleys using the lifts around. There is a bus that stops outside the hotel which will take you down into the town too. The facilities and restaurant are 10/10, I'll definitely be returning to Hotel Kaya in future.
Spent a week here. The staff were amazing, notably those at the front desk!
The hotel was fine, good location. Food choices were ok - not the best for vegatarians but they tried to accommodate which is all you can ask for.
Rooms were ok too - although windows don’t keep the noise out so you hear the snow trucks late at night and early morning, and when it’s windy, you will most definitely hear it!
Excellent facilities for skiing. Easy to get on and off the slopes. Beautiful and cozy rooms. Very filling breakfast witha gorgeous view of the skopes! Would definitely return for another ski holiday.
We had a wonderful stay, the staff were extremely helpful in all situations and warm and friendly, I would say more friendly than I have generally experienced in France. In particular Kevin behind the bar and Stefan the chef went out of their way to ensure everything was as perfect as it could be.We had a celebratory dinner one evening and the food was exceptional. Great features, such as the spa and ski lockers, ski in and out and afternoon coffee and cakes made it the best ski hotel I have stayed in France to date and would highly recommend. We will definitely return.
Amazing stay, the hotel was perfect, the staff were all lovely and friendly and the facilities were all designed to maximise convenience and comfort. We would definitely love to return and it really felt like a home away from home! The location was also perfect, right on the slopes, with the free shuttle literally outside the hotel entrance.
This is a lovely hotel. Our room (Junior Suite) was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was a little rough around the edges in places, but perfectly acceptable.
The breakfast is very substantial and has everything you need before a day on the slopes.
The spa is really nice. Very well kept and feels luxurious.
The boot room is great and gives you perfect access to the slope on a blue run.
We found the staff to be a little sleepy once there. Before we turned up, every email was replied to very quickly and with wonderful helpful answers (e.g sorting out our lift passes and a car park space). Once onsite, they were perfectly polite and were happy to help, but there was no urgency or proactive activity from them. A hotel of this level you expect to be spoiled when it comes to service and I didn’t feel this was the case.
We would stay again.
Overall pleasant stay in a junior suite. Good location for ski-in ski-out slopes but in begining of April you have to walk the path. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold food. Beds and pillows could be slightly more comfy. There is a shuttle bus that takes you to main town area which is convenient if not eating at hotel.
Very impressed with this hotel - it really is a gem. Service was impeccable, rooms were sizeable and clean. We loved the open fire in the lounge in the evenings. Would recommend going half-board - dinners were excellent, some of the best food we've had in the Alps. Spa is great, good sized pool, hammam and sauna, as well as good choice of treatments.
We stayed here one night before we moved into a chalet. We wish we'd stayed longer. The hotel is right on the piste so a great ski location. The family suite was at the top of the hotel with stunning views of the valley. The suite had the main bed in the living room and the kids bunk room just off the entrance hallway so a well thought out layout. The living room had a settee and tea/coffee making facilities.
The pool downstairs was big with comfy bean bags and loungers. On the level below in the spa there was a sauna and steam room.
Dinner in the restaurant was spectacular. A wonderful set menu for 52euro for adults and a good kids menu too. Nearby is also La Ferme de Reberty restaurant but you will need to book in advance.
Service throughout the hotel was exceptional too.
The hotel is really high so for late in the season, it's perfect. He fact it's ski in, ski out is a huge sell. Overall it's a lovely hotel. Clean, modern, spacious with wonderful rooms. What's lacking is any charm from the staff and attention to detail. Dirty pillow cases left in our room, no replacement glasses, ordered ski passes and told they had none when we picked them up in the morning etc. No showstoppers but could ruin it for some people. We got a great deal, half price so well worth it but it might be different if we'd have paid top whack. The location is amazing for skiing but not so great if you're hoping for blazing night life.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
Untrained staff and not really helpful
Water in an early morning shower was not warm enough and heating in the room though set to maximum was not enough neither.
Few staff were very polite and helpful but the rest untrained and not really helpful and the night reception desk person not helpful at all
Warm, clean and modern rooms. Smooth rental of skis at the ski shop in the same building just some meters from the reception. Buy ski pass at the hotel reception. Private ski equipment lockers at the ski in ski out entrance. Breakfast and dinner at restaurant is ok.
