Unique User Friendly Room
This hotel has a heavy Chinese influenced design which I enjoy. It reminds me of the Shanghai Mansion in Bangkok’s Chinatown. The storage space in my room was the most I can recall seeing in any hotel. I travel relatively light but this room had enough storage for two people to live there. The shower was huge and had a bench seat which I know some friends with some disability issues that would appreciate that. The A/C was strong, the shower was hot. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Excellent cappuccino. I ate two nights in the dining area and the food was both affordable and delicious not to mention dishes I had never seen before. Road noise was mentioned in previous reviews and with the A/C unit going I could only hear an occasional motorbike. I slept great both nights. My only complaint that I won’t let take away from my five star rating was four unruly guests from France. I heard them screaming all through the hotel at different times during the day. When they were in the small wading pool doing cannonballs and screaming I came down to talk to management about setting up a private table for me away from them. I was shocked to see the four of them were in their forties; I thought for sure they were 14/15 years old. Way to represent. The night manager was glaring at them as was a couple trying to eat. I don’t know if they were spoken to but they were gone when I came down for dinner. Aside from that amazing experience.

Rustic Thai charm
Definitely an authentic hotel with many rustic charms and super comfortable huge bed! The breakfast was fantastic too! Only thing that was a little annoying was there were a few bugs/mosquitos and some cobwebs in bathroom/room. Otherwise loved the fact that it was small and quaint and they accommodated our super late arrival! Thanks for a great quick stay on our way between Phuket and khao sok national park!

Cheap but dont expect sleep
A true 3 star hotel that tries to be more but facility itself is a 2 star. Cobblestone lobby that you cant pull your luggage across, Michelin award signs for lobby for what? Good for 1 night but small rooms, a warped sliding door frame left us victim to every piped scooter and crowing rooster all night. Its too close to the main road and those roosters. Breakfast passable and prompt and friendly staff service. Its also within walking distance to the dive shops.

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely boutique hotel with a very friendly atmosphere. The staff and management strived to please guests and were very helpful. Would recommend staying here as we spent 25 nights here and would definitely return.

Hotel Gahn is a secret gem
What a beautiful property. This family run hotel has spared no expense on trying to recreate and immerse their guests in their Baba heritage and it really makes an impact. Lovely facilities, a wonderfully warm team and lovely food. Try some sticky rice for breakfast!

A gem in Khao Lak!!!
Hotel Gahn is a gem hidden in the chaotic, nondescript town of Khao Lak. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly and inviting, and we felt like family while staying here. The hotel is gorgeous, and the numerous small touches and details that make the stay so much more enjoyable are evident throughout the hotel. Hotel Gahn is absolutely wonderful, and highly recommended!!!

Such a beautiful room and hotel. Staff is super friendly and polite. A little walk to the beach and restaurants. Rooms are very large and the bed is just perfect. We arrived a bit early for the check in but the did their best to prepare the room as fast as possible. Thank you

L’hôtel Gahn est nouveau, moderne, propre, tenu par des gens accueillants et serviables. Les lits sont grands et très confortables, les salles de bain spacieuses, la douche est merveilleuse. Petits déjeuners un peu frugaux, mais très bien pour la Thaïlande. L’emplacement est plutôt central et pratique. Recommandé.

Sehr neues, stylisches Boutiquehotel mit liebe zum Detail. Ist gibt nur einer einzigen Kritikpunkt: Unser Zimmer lag zur Straßenseite und daher war es auch in der Nacht sehr laut. Ansonsten war es vom Essen, über die Ausstattung bis zum Personal hervorragend!!!
