Hotels in The Sheddings

You'll have to move faster than a cute dog video goes viral if you want to stay close to The Sheddings. There's only 1 place to stay within 10 kilometres of the action, so chop chop!

As close to the action as you'll get, Londonderry Arms Hotel is a terrific place to crash after a long day of travelling.

You might also like to try the Culloden Estate & Spa, which you can find 35 kilometres away. Or you might like the Ballygally Castle, just a distance of 13 kilometres from The Sheddings. We'd also recommend the Hilton Belfast Templepatrick Golf & Country Club and the Curran Court Hotel. The first is 25 kilometres from downtown, while the second is 18 kilometres away.

High heels or sandals? However you prefer to roll, you're bound to enjoy a trip to Ballycastle, 30 kilometres away. With Torr Head and Murlough Bay to explore, you won't be bored here. If you want to spend a few nights in Ballycastle, consider the An Caislean and The Marine Hotel. Or, you could consider staying in Bangor, 40 kilometres to the southeast of The Sheddings, where you can choose from the Cairn Bay Lodge and Marine Court Hotel. Whether you're shooting through or staying in Bangor, set aside some time to check out Sunken Gardens and Bangor Castle.

You'll come across some awesome visitor attractions in Londonderry. Peace Bridge, Guildhall and the Diamond are up there with the best. This regional hub is located 80 kilometres west of The Sheddings and has a population of 87,000. The Waterside Theatre and the Millennium Forum are a few more which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. There is a good number of places to stay in Londonderry, with the Beech Hill Country House Hotel and City Hotel Derry at the top of our list.

Unless you're planning to crash on the floor at Belfast International Airport, it's probably a good idea to book some accommodation before you fly. The Stable Court Apartments is not too far away, or you could always travel to the centre of town. It's 30 kilometres away.

Firstly the staff on check in were amazing. Couldnt have been anymore helpful. The facilities are the best ive ever seen. The range of eateries on site are top class. We got a Woodpecker delivered to our sheppards hut and it was delicious. The Sheppards hut itself is outstanding. So comfy and homely. We could live here. Cant wait to get back and stay again.
