Came to visit Rosarito for the first time driving from Los Angeles. The staff was very friendly, and the security made me feel safe. Parking is available for $5 USD per night, and a $100 deposit is required. A wristband is required to be worn throughout the stay at the hotel, but it was not too uncomfortable once I became used to it. The stay was great.

What once was considered one of the best hotels has really declined. Bed and pillows were hard as rocks. TV was smaller than my laptop. No drawers to place your items. No night table lamp. No screens on the windows. A small table with a table and more lighting would make a difference. How about some decore to boost some ambiance. It is a convenient walk to certain establishments but nothing more than that.

The location is close to everything. But it's noisy. Thin walls and you hear the water pipes and showers. Loud music from the clubs. Normal size but nothing special. Bed and TV. Balcony is nice and a view of the ocean but no chairs to enjoy it. You have to pay for parking and our superior room had no air conditioning or heater system. There are other hotels in the area for less money and have climate control and free parking and quieter.

No air conditioner, I had to pay for an upgrade in order to get air conditioner. Not enough towels, music doesn’t stop until 4am. Cleaning crew starts at 6am. Did I mentioned NO air conditioning?! You must upgrade and only two people per room on upgraded.

Very pleasant stay as it had been nearly 20 years since I last stayed at the property. Could use safety railings on the higher floors. Otherwise very nice and attentive staff.
