Our stay at the BW Traverse City was so nice, exceeded our expectations. We arrived at 7pm, was greeted by a very friendly gal who offered us fresh cookies. The room was immaculate, the bathroom was updated and modern. Even though it was on a busy street, we did not hear street noise. It was a wonderful visit, would definitely recommend this for quality and value.

Very well kept property. Clean rooms with very nice linens. Free breakfast that was delicious and there were many options. The best part was the staff! We were checked in by Tricia and Sheila who were THE BEST. They provided excellent service and helped us plan our activities around the area. All of the employees were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, including Kevin from maintenance. We would definitely stay there again!

What a pleasant surprise after a long day driving!
Super clean and VERY comfy bed. Great linens, crisp and feeling very clean as well as the bed spread. Two of the pillows were very puffy and the other two medium but not on the thinner side for us smaller people who need thin pillows. The bath supplies were wonderful, eco friendly and smelled of citrus! I LOVED LOVED them! Bath towels were well stocked. Breakfast had both hot and cold foods, plus coffee and a good range of teas, which was nice. Sausage was plant based but really had great sausage flavor. Night receptionist who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The day one, who seemed to be the manager, was very very loud, making breakfast nearby less peaceful for those trying to wake up. She was nice though. Wi-fi and plenty of ports to charge up all the tech you might have. It was a lovely stay and I am glad I chose it!

Expensive given the condition
When we checked in, the ladies at the front desk let us know how much they hate bookings through Hotels.com or Expedia and wished that they could just get rid of it. The hotel is older and dated in furnishings and decorations and for the price we paid (over $400 for the night), I have stayed in much better for a lot less. Our room was weird in that the only window faced out into the hallway. There was no window facing outside, so we had to keep the blackout curtains pulled the entire time because someone could see in if they walked past in the hallway.

Decent hotel with shuttle transportation to the downtown area. Rooms were good and we were given extra pillows and bedding upon request. Shuttle service was great. Hotel location was not the best for anything walkable. A car is definitely needed.
