We were not sure what to expect with our stay here. It is mostly a holiday campground for tents and trailers, but they have 8 hotel rooms for rent. The room and bathroom were spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette. There was a nice patio with chairs and a cafe table. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless. The campground personnel were helpful and friendly. The campground is on a lovely lake with hiking trails. Fishing is close by. The location is conveniently located near Twizel. We were pleasantly surprised by our very comfortable accommodations.

Cozy Twizel Retreat: Renovated Bathroom & Perfect for Memory-Making

This is a place you need to bring your own bedding (which we had) and towels (which we forgot :-) ) It was good value for money. We did not have internet. I am not sure if that could have been arranged. We stayed as a couple with my brother but we think it might be also a really nice place for a family. It is easy walking to the town center. We would come again.
