I loved this little jungle paradise in the city! Surprisingly quiet and tranquil for being right near popular Ubud areas. Can’t argue with the value of this quant little hotel!
Staff were really lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful.
No facilities in the room (as in tea and coffee making equipment or tv). Bathroom was smelly and dirty, basic cleaning in the bathroom wasn’t done. Hot water in the shower lasted 2 minutes, if you’re lucky.
Location was reasonably good, not too far from the centre of Ubud but far enough so you didn’t hear the music from
The bars. That said, mornings are a cacophony of sound from around 4:30 we were woken by cockerels, bird song, yapping dogs, chickens and some other unrecognisable creature the was louder than the lot of them
Breakfast was a sad affair:
Choice of one hot drink T or C
Then either eggs or toast and jam
To sum up advertised as a 3 star hotel........under UK grading it would struggle to get one star based on my experience.
Would I return or recommend? Not a chance
