If you're here physically but in mind you're living it up in Vaulruz, it's time to take that holiday. Vaulruz's downtown area doesn't have much in terms of accommodation, but you'll be able to stay in any of the 6 hotels within 10 kilometres of the action.

Planning on spending a decent chunk of your time checking out the downtown area? the Hostellerie Le Castel and Best Western Hotel Rallye are about as close as you'll get to the action.

You may also like to stay at the Hôtel des Trois Couronnes, which is located 20 kilometres away. Or maybe the Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, just a distance of 20 kilometres from Vaulruz. If those ones don't jump out at you, you might prefer to go with the Le Mirador Resort & Spa or the Grand Hotel du Lac Vevey.

Don't skedaddle before you've gone to the Castle of Gruyeres and Chateau d'Oex Ski Resort in Bas-Intyamon. This regional centre is 25 kilometres southeast of Vaulruz and has a population of 7,000. If you decide to hang out for a while, keep the good time rolling at Gstaad Ski Resort and Eggli Ski Resort. Superb location, it’s just across the road from the Train station. We had a corner Lake-view room and the view from the balcony was just gorgeous. Could see a long stretch of the Waterfront promenade, from the balcony. Staff was helpful at all times, Alex at the desk was particularly helpful and efficient. Overall, a superb experience.
