Very good hotel and close to city center and all of the Christmas Markets. Great breakfast with a very hospitable staff. If you want a good experience and able to walk about everywhere, this is a good hotel for that. No steps to get from front door to elevator. I'd stay here again when in Vienna.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely historic hotel located within easy walking distance to St. Stephen's Cathedral and undergound transport. The included breakfast was good with a variety of options. While this the hotel interior is not recently updated, the rooms and common areas are very clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff quite friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and would definitely return.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was great. It’s a 15 minute walk into the center of the main area and even closer to some nightlife and restaurants. The train is down the block which made it easy to get to and from the main station. This is a great hotel for the accessibility and the price, definitely a great value.

Hotel is old and not well maintained. Room had a very strong sewer smell coming from bathroom. Heat was very low and could not be controlled from room. Windows did not seal right. I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Vienna and this was the worst.

I liked my room, it was a comfortable experience bed was lovely to sleep in and a good working shower. Good overall. I also liked the breakfast as i booked bed and breakfast

If you want a trip to 80s hospitality......
Very dated hotel, from the moment you walk in it is like you been sent back to the 1980s. The decor is dated, the room keys have marker pen written numbers, the bed is too soft and the breakfast is basic at best. The staff are ok but the hotel needs updating.

Transport options were great near the hotel. Very central with good shops dining bars nearby. Hotel room very warm and comfortable, also very spacious with high ceilings. Breakfast catered for all tastes..great hotel.

Booked a month before our weekend with Expedia. Ten days before our trip I was urgently needed inLOs Angeles because my brother in law was seriously and terminally ill. I had to fly out and so my friend who was to stay with me in Hotel Post asked for a refund . I then wrote out of compassion grounds and got a flat denial. Very unfair

Amazing location for a short trip to Vienna — walkable to restaurants and shops, with public transport close by. The room was clean and comfortable, and was surprisingly quiet given the city centre location. The hotel felt safe, and the breakfast included was great quality.

Good location, quiet and clean
A great location to explore St Stephens area. Shopping, restaurants are within a 10 minute easy walk. 15 minute easy walk to Mitte Landstrasse with easy connection to airport on CAT. Subway stop 5 minutes. Hotel was clean and nice, room was small but beds were comfortable and it was quiet, even though we were in a street-side room. Bathroom was very small but it met our needs. Breakfast was good. Cereal and bread choices, fruit, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon. Recommended
