Love this old hotel and the room with parquet floor and beautiful wooden furniture. Super quiet right in the middle of everything you want to see the only negative aspect was the evening hotel receptionist who was definitely unpleasant.

Nice facility. Close to most of the attractions. Clean room and dining area. Staff was responsive. AC worked fine in August 2024 heat. Request for late checkout honored. Small Shower stall. No option to make tea or coffee in room Overall, happy with our stay.

For starters it does not appear like in the pictures. It is surrounded by street and city construction all around it. Not their fault of course. The quaint style of the hotel rooms from the hallway to the doors and window was fantastic!I believe it’s called Bauhaus architecture style. Surprised that this European hotel gave us all the utility stuff soaps shampoo body wash even shower caps ear swabs needle and thread and shower caps. Phew! Going from just soap in the European hotels to this. Breakfast was not as great as in Budapest. But definitely decent I would say. Construction around ruins the atmosphere. The lobby definitely needs an update. At first when I saw the lobby I was wondering if I had booked a shady hotel. They even have the glass elevators that fits into the architecture. Nice place decent breakfast people are good.

Wonderful area to stay in! Super close to everything. The rooms are small, which is fine for the areas you’re in. The bathroom is super tiny which is tough if you’re over 6ft, OR heavier set!

The property was very well located, just minutes away walking from main attractions and a block away from the underground. The staff was very helpful and everything was spotless! Really nice breakfast too! Will def return!

Lovely stay in Vienna
The hotel was well located very close to the U-bahn and Stephansplatz. All the major sights were easily walkable but the hotel was not on a noisy street at all. The fridge in our room didn't work but the staff let us use a communal fridge downstairs which was fine as we were only on the first floor so it was not too much of a bother. We were told that a lot of the fridges don't work. It was odd having to put our own duvet in its cover and a bit of a shame not to have tea/coffee making facilities. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was well stocked and even at busy times there were no problems. If I were in Vienna again, I'd happily stay here.

Our room was spacious, quiet and had all necessary amenities. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was very good and the location in easy walking distance to all major downtown attractions. The only negative thing was the small shower stall without any place to put soap, shampoo etc. The hallways could be a little nicer too but overall this hotel has an excellent price to cost value.

O hotel é agradável, com funcionários muito gentis e sempre disponíveis a atender bem. O café da manhã é muito bom. A localização é ótima, próxima das áreas de interesse, e ao mesmo tempo em uma rua calma e silenciosa. The location is very convenient to public transport to get around the city. The lobby has no air conditioning, so it’s pretty hot in the summer, although the room AC worked great. The breakfast was very good - had a good variety. The hotel was a little more dated than expected, but the beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our time.

The Hotel Post is walkable to many of the city’s attractions. It’s the only one I’ve stayed in that has a vestibule attached to the room. Beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows feel like you’ve stepped back in time to a more elegant era. My only ding to this lovely establishment is the shower. The water temperature varies wildly during use when not physically moving the handle.
