Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great hotel for the location and price. My room was located under the rooftop restaurant and was noisy at peak times. I noticed a lot of women staying at this hotel, which provided a level of comfort as a solo female traveler.
Without my permission, cleaning staff used a wet cloth to clean my iPad. It didn't help anything but had an adverse effect. I didn't even ask for a room cleaned; they just got in when I was hanging out.
Well designed room layout with thoughtful consideration to the practical needs of its guests. Good location within walking distances of major attractions. Would like to come back to stay next time in DC.
I loved how it was in the middle of China Town and only a 2 minute walk from the metro station. Very cute place and super affordable! I paid $450 for 3 nights!
Everything about the stay was wonderful , except for the size of the room. It was clearly listed in the details when we made the reservation, however, we overlooked it. It was very small and took a little bit of getting used to, but in the end, everything was fantastic.
My daughter and I stayed here for one night. It was not kid friendly, at all. We tried to get out of our TINY room and eat downstairs in the lobby. The attendant told us we couldn’t eat there. We couldn’t go on the roof either because she wasn’t 21. We were told we could go eat in our rooms. The attendant by the bar was very rude. The only people who were kind were the two young ladies working during the morning shift on June 14, 2025. I think Dinora checked me in. She actually allowed me to check in earlier than expected. She was very accommodating!
One other issue was the level of noise that could be heard all night. Apparently, the windows were not sound proof. I had to catch a 7:00 am flight. I couldn’t sleep at all because of sirens, cars and everything else going by the entire night. It was horrendous. Motto by Hilton was certainly not worth $195 per night.
