A warm welcome. All the staff were lovely, attentive & friendly. Cleaned to a high standard. Located next door to the Stadium of Light football ground. Ample parking.
Only thing the hotel didn't have, which is my personal choice - is if the hotel had offered a Spa experience with a pool & sauna facilities then I would have loved my time there even more than I already have.
Room was excellent. Contacted on our way to explain there was no hot water. Offered to cancel stay for free or find alternative accommodation, neither of which was suitable for our needs. Settled for 50% off but no hot water did taint the stay.
Stayed for a football match (Pompey fan)
Room was a good price and came with breakfast. Staff were happy for my car to stay in the blue car park for the duration of the match before we set of home. Food was great and staff all friendly. Would stay again!

Hotel was perfect only one issue the use of plastic glasses I understand it’s a football match and safety is paramount
But 3 hours after and as a guest in the hotel I was served a glass of not cheap wine in a plastic pint glass
I did ask a reception and was told I couldn’t have one have you ever drunk red wine out of plastic pint glass not good hence I left it
Great value hotel, close to city centre. Rooms are lovely, large, and so comfortable. Breakfast on the expensive side, but good choice. This is maybe my 5th visit here, never have any issues. Friendly reception staff too!
